Guwahati, Oct 16 : The report of the Sixth Assam Pay Commission was today officially handed over to Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.
The report of the Commission, set up in May 30, 2008, was handed over by its chairman Bhaskar Baruah to Gogoi.
The Chief Minister said the pay scales would be announced in line with the government's recent decision to grant salary at par with those with the central government.
