Imphal, January 30 : LEIKOL in collaboration with Department of Art and Culture kicked off North East Woman Writers' Meet in a function held at Kangla Hall today.
MLA Th Nandakishore and Art and Culture Joint Director K Sobita graced the inaugural function as chief guest a president respectively.
Twenty two participants from Manipur and two each from the States of Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim are taking part in the meet.
The meet which will continue till January 31 at Hotel Imphal is being organised under the aegis of North East Zone Cultural Centre, Dimapur.
