Dr Hiren Gohain’s literary works released

GUWAHATI, Jan 18 – An anthology of the literary writings of noted litterateur and critic Dr Hiren Gohain was released by Jyoti Prasad Saikia, Editor, Dainik Asam and noted columnist Nitya Bora here today. The first volume of Dr Gohain’s literary writings include articles on the theory of literary criticism, Indian and Western literature, book

reviews, interviews and lectures written during the period 1950-2008.

The anthology has been edited by Shoneet Bijoy Das and Munin Bayan and published by Katha Publications of Guwahati.

Shoneet Bijoy Das and Munin Bayan said that Dr Gohain’s political and social writings would be brought out in a phased manner. Katha Publications had recently published the collected works of noted Assamese short story writer Saurabh Chaliha.
